Dog Sweaters

Inspired by a Pattern Designed for Martha Stewart's Frenchies, I have handsewn a collection of fleece coats. These have lightweight batting between the layer of fleece and rain repellant OR raincoat lining. They are REVERSIBLE. Coats are embellished with QUILTING STITCHES. Some have braiding to outline the edges. Some are turned inside-out with no braiding. All have extra -strength velcro closures at neck and belly strap. EZ to slip on and off. Just affix the neck ring, slip over the dog's head, and then slap the belly strap under and up to catch on velcro. I can dress a wiggly FBD with one hand (as long as it is not leapfrogging too exuberantly).

Repellant Nylon-- Reversible

FLEECE coat in red 'n black has quilt-stitches to outline the pawprints on the fleece. The reverse side has stitched channels to firmly fix the internal lightweight batting. Black "windbreaker" type nylon lining is water repellant.. The coat is handwashable and as the repellant weakens, it can be sprayed with water repellant spray. COZY & WARM

Sized for a puppy or medium sized pearshaped body, one of the "football" jackets is with nylon water repellant lining and one has raincoat fabric in matte black plus fancy braiding around the edges.

Signature fleece spotlighting your favorite school can be sent to me for a custom-fitted dogcoat. I will cut-n-sew from dog's individual measurements, add lining of your choice, quilt and even add braiding to the edge. Labor and lining materials for this is $25.00 not including price to mail back to you. Fleece required is 2/3 yd 58-60" wide fleece.

Coats are embellished with feathers, metallic threads, and I can add an embroidered name at the neckline.

Impressionist is a varirgated splash of Spring for any coat colo, a male or female Frenchie.

Robin is a sky blue with cable stitch design on the topside. The turtleneck collar in garnet red has embroidered edge with a string tie for neckline adjustment.

Coral Cables is a deep coral of knitted "cables and chains". The picot edging is wider than on most dogcoats herein. For a longer and slimmer body. The addition of a bowtie at neckline adds additional comfort, fit and protection. Wash 'n wear bulky weight yarns are used in this garment. Bulky knit.

Sassy is a lightweight cotton chenielle yarn and ideal for moderate climates with cool evenings. This has several features to allow adjustments for size.. This one is 16" from base of collar to hemline. Price: $22..00
